19 of the Russian's 21 titles have been achieved on hard courts
A comeback Daniil Medvedev won his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over Corentin Moutet in the tournament title decider.
Medvedev, a former number one, has had a challenging year, achieving just one match at the big events and experiencing a meltdown at the US Open.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and issues with his serve in specific - resulted in him dropping out of the world's top 10 and finally separating with long-term coach Gilles Cervara.
Presently training with Thomas Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually improved in the past month - peaking in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over Frenchman Moutet.
It is the player's initial championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hardcourt after spring of the previous year.
Victory also indicates Medvedev has secured 21 victories at twenty-one different events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a event with my both daughters together, so to win a title is really nice," said tennis professional Medvedev.
"This championship is in dedication of my second daughter her name, because the first title I achieved when my child her name was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had lost his last six title deciders, including in that event previously this season.
The player's counter-punching play style and recurring emotional displays on the playing surface had led observers to wonder if his capacity to play at the top level was finished.
However the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the past month, attempting to approach the net and play positively, reinforced by an better serving game.
He fought back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the difficult opponent, winning four of the concluding five games to take the lead.
The competitors swapped service breaks in the following set before the Frenchman, attempting for his initial tour title, gained dominance to create a final set.
He defended four initial chances in a close final set before Medvedev secured a break to that score to serve for the match.
Appropriately, Medvedev secured the title with a shot at the front of the court, with his opponent failing to handle a shot after a lengthy match.
